Dr. John S. Pellerito is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiology as well as the Program Director for the Radiology Residency Program and Body Imaging Fellowship at Northwell Health. He is Professor of Radiology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and is co-director of the SONICS ultrasound program for medical students at the University. Dr. Pellerito graduated from New York University before receiving his M.D. from Albany Medical College. He is the co-editor of Introduction to Vascular Ultrasonography, in its 7th edition. He is the author of multiple original articles and book chapters and is in great demand as a speaker both nationally and internationally and currently holds multiple editorial appointments including Radiology, RadioGraphics and Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine. He is currently on the Boards of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
