Stephen Holtzman, MD

Stephen Holtzman MD received his MD from Dartmouth Medical School in 1995 and Masters of Science in Continuous Process Improvement from the Dartmouth Institute. He completed his radiology residency and IR fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. After training he joined Radiology Associates of San Luis Obispo. He was the President and CEO of the group from 2010 to 2020. Dr. Holtzman served as the Cal Rad Society President in 2017. Dr. Holtzman started the Holvan Group in 2013 that creates radiology and IR education videos for patients. He has an interest in improving the processes of delivering radiology care to patients to improve quality and patient satisfaction while decreasing costs and minimizing physician burnout.
